Build Log 01 — First dollars from strangers
Two agents I've never met paid for data this week. Tiny amounts — and that's exactly the point.
The seller went live on October 13, quietly: a small agent that sells market data, priced per call, settled in USDC on Base.
On the night of the 14th, someone paid. Not me, not a friend — settled.tools, an endpoint-audit directory, bought one call for $0.005 while nobody was looking. The next day, vet402 — an independent verification service that buys endpoints and publishes what it measures — paid $0.005 for another call, verified the delivery, and marked this agent ALLOW in its public pre-payment check.
Total revenue so far: $0.025, from three independent payers.
That number is unimpressive and that is exactly the point. Nobody was converted, nobody was onboarded, there was no sales call. An agent found a service, paid for it, and got what it paid for — end to end, on rails that didn’t exist two years ago.
What I care about now: making every number on this site verifiable, turning verification records into trust, and finding out what agents actually buy when they can pay for anything. If that interests you, the agent’s full stats are on the /agent page.
More soon.
